You have heard me say this before - a large part of the benefit of going to am internet marketing conference is the networking you can do. Tonite at dinner was a great example of networking and brainstorming. At a table of about 10, one person shared a “souvenier” they have had for years relating to a very famous dead person. Three or four of us jumped on the idea as a great way to market and brand on the internet. About 3 pages of notes later, this person is ready to go with a great idea.
I’m being vague about the idea on purpose to protect the person’s idea…..when it takes off I’ll let you know.

While it is completely possible to sell your products and make money on eBay, what most internet marketers do not realize and do not do is use eBay as a lead generator.

Adam Ginsberg has become the “rock star” of teaching people how to make money on eBay.
One of the best tips of the day came as he was making his pitch for his eBay training program.
The question he asked was simple and profound - “Who do you want to learn from?” The implication of course is to learn from the best.

“If you create a product with out asking your list what it is they want, you are being both dumb and arrogant.”
Ask your list members what they want to know.

Stephen built a 6 figure business on the internet while going to seminary full time, with a family.

Eric Lofholm is the person that taught Matt Bacak’s team to follow up with people on the phone - one of Matt’s secrets of success is to bring a new person in online and take them offline as soon as possible.
So your tip is to get someone offline and on the phone and have a conversation about their business and their needs. This really ups the know, like and trust factor. Then you pair their needs with your services, because selling is service.

Tip: Make sure you have at least one big ticket item. Think of it this way - how many $37 ebooks do you have to sell to make $100,000? A whole lot. Now, how many $5,000 coaching programs do you have to sell to make $100,000? A whole lot less.
So make sure you have a big ticket item in your sales funnel. What’s yours?
