Beth Davis spoke on “Your Marketing Purpose, It’s In Your Hands.” According to Beth here is how you create your marketing plan - identify the 2 - 3 things you love to do in your niche.
Is is speaking, writing, creating and marketing products? Whatever those 2 - 3 things are, that is the marketing plan you need to go with.

You are probably familiar with speed dating, right?
Well at Bridging Heart & Marketing we did Speed Networking. Here’s how it works:
Large room with lots of people. You move from person to person. You have 2 sentences each to answer 2 questions
1. What do you do?
2. What are you looking for?
My answers:
1. I teach you how to write, market and monetize your articles for endless waves of prospects, publicity and profits.
2. I’m looking for 2 things - for you to come to my break out session in the morning, and register for the next Article Writing & Marketing Secrets TeleCourse.
This was a great way to network, because if you were not a good fit with someone, you just moved on.
Made lots of good connections and many times was also able to connect people to other people in the room or to other people I know.
Brilliant idea on the part of Judith and Jim…

Donna Fox spoke on “Marketing to Women.”
Did you know that more than 85% of the buying decisions, including on the internet, are made by women?
So the take away is “market to women and you get the men too!”

Tom Justin spoke on how to “Build a Fully Functional Internet Marketing Business in 6 Weeks or Less.”
Here’s a great quote from Tom’s presentation: “Sometimes we stare at a problem so hard that it’s like having your hand in front of your face and all you can see is your hand (the problem) and you cannot see any of the solutions. Move your hand (stop focusing on the problem) and you can begin to see a wealth of solutions.”

So many people get on the internet and try to do too many things. They start out with one idea, work it a little, then get distracted by another idea or the next big thing and go off in another direction.
Then wonder why they are not successful.
Mike Filsaimes “Hedge Hog Approach” teaches you to focus on one thing you are good at and passionate about and laser focus on that market.
I can really vouch for the truth of this in my own business. For too long I tried to do too much on the net - a relationship site, a parenting site, a stress management site, a private practice building site, and an article marketing site.
Makes me tired just to type it.
My process of my success on the internet is in direct proportion to either closing out the other topics or turning them over to someone else and focusing only on Article Marketing.
So, what is your “Hedge Hog Topic?”
