Listen now

I don’t believe in writer’s block. Never had it and expect to never get it. People get it because they expect to get it. Have you ever had “eating block?” - “bike riding block?” - etc? The next time you think you have writer’s block, write about it.

Glossary: Too many people believe that Writer’s Block is an inevitable condition for any writer. Strange to put something in a glossary that I don’t believe exists, but I don’t believe writer’s block is real. It’s just a belief we have. Write past it.

Let’s see - was your special guest Buddy or Caleb? I’ll have to pick Caleb!
Yep, that’s Caleb, with a 103 degree fever.
I have him in early training to do teleseminars.

Re: Writer’s Block = A Belief
I agree.
You could take that even further, Jeff…sometimes we label as beliefs those things which we are reluctant to admit are little more than…excuses.
To paraphrase a quote of undetermined origin, the major difference between those who succeed in this life, and those who don’t, is that those who succeed do not make excuses.
