Many of you will remember an old saying your parents often said when put too much on your plate or tried to eat too much……
“Looks like your eyes were bigger than your stomache.”
That’s what I did when I decided to launch the 48 Tips in 72 Hours idea.
We just hit the 72 hour mark, and I’m at only 23 posts, so my eyes WERE bigger than my stomache!

When you get to listen to so many speakers you are able to learn lots of different techniques that you can add to your own tool bag. It’s been very interesting to watch how each speaker pitches and closes their offer.
Debra Thompson closed with telling everyone that the first group meeting would be right after her talk and she would take everyone to lunch to meet. Great idea.
So I gathered up all the people that signed up for the Great Article Marketing Training Program yesterday and today, and a few that were interested, took ‘em to lunch and we had our first meeting. What a kick!

Debra Thompson made what I think is one of the best points of the conference. You have heard me say many times “go use this stuff.” I say this because, contrary to the popular saying, information is not power, taking action with the information is power.
Here’s the great line - “If information is power, how many rich librarians do you know?”

Here is a great way to think about your message and your products:
“What you sell solves someone’s problems.”
