GET PROFITS with Social Marketing

Posted by: Jeff Herring | Comments (2)

Here is Part Four of the 4 Part Series on the importance of building Online Visibility with Social Media and Social Marketing.

Get Profits – When traffic is properly directed it turns into profits. If getting found is the most important thing in Social Marketing, then what the prospect finds once they get there is a very close second. When the prospect finds more good information from you that is helpful to them, followed by an offer of a paid resource that is going to help them even more, they are much more likely to buy from you.

Think about it – if you show your prospect lots of good information that helps them and leaves them feeling good about their interaction with you, making a sale is going to be an easy next step.

Bonus Tip: When your prospect sees you in multiple places online, you are seen as the expert and they feel like they have spent lots of time with you. Which allows them to trust you and spend lots of money with you.

Here is Part Three of the 4 Part Series on the importance of building Online Visibility with Social Media and Social Marketing.

Get Traffic – One of the beauties of having many sign posts in your Social Marketing system is that you can use these signpost to direct the prospect (traffic) where you want them to go, which is to access more information from you.

In this way you are not chasing traffic, you are getting yourself if front of where the traffic is going and then directing it where you want it to go. When you master the skill of directing traffic where you want it to do you become more powerful in your business because you are no longer hoping traffic will go where you want it to go you know it will go where you want it to go…

GET VIEWED with Social Marketing

Posted by: Jeff Herring | Comments (2)

Here is Part Two of the 4 Part Series on the importance of building Online Visibility with Social Media and Social Marketing.

Get Viewed - The steps here are simple – once you get found, prospects can view your information contained in the signposts you have erected. As prospects begin to consume your information, whether it is in text, audio, video or a combination, and realize that you know what you are talking about, they begin to know, like and trust you.

You can then direct them to other resources you may have. Don’t miss the power of the last sentence. You will then be able to direct traffic where you want it to go. Which is the subject of tomorrow’s post.

GET FOUND with Social Marketing

Posted by: Jeff Herring | Comments (4)

Here is Part One of 4 Part Series on the importance of building Online Visibility with Social Media and Social Marketing. At the end of each installment you will find a link to read the article with all four parts, and I will be sharing a bit more on each installment here on the blog.

Get Found – Because there are millions of sites on the Internet, the first and most important step is getting found. Having a strong online presence allows you to erect “multiple sign posts” leading to your information.

Whether are a beginner or a veteran, this is really good news because it has never been easier to get found. When I first started out there was no Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.

Just email and websites.

So take advantage of all that is available now.

And here is the bottom line: Getting found is everything. In all the noise in your niche, when you get found, you are heads and tails above everyone else.

How to Leverage One Social Media Site For a Flood of Traffic

If you are not using Twitter to drive traffic to your websites, blogs, and articles then you are missing out on a great tool and leaving tons of traffic on the table. And traffic properly handled turns into profits.

So let’s take a closer look at how to leverage Twitter to drive tons of traffic to your articles, whether your content is on your website, blog, or an Article Directory.

7 Steps to a Ton of Traffic

Step 1 – Tweet that you are working on a new piece of content. Include the working title and when you expect to have it done by. This builds the anticipation in your followers and puts a bit a pressure on you to get in done.

Step 2 – When you submit your article to a Directory, let your Twitter followers know your new content has been submitted. Include the title, and let them know when you think the article will be out by. This continues to build anticipation.

Step 3 – When you set up your account at EzineArticles correctly, your newly published articles are “auto-tweeted” to and announced on Twitter, including the title and the link. This is done automatically for you. If your article is coming out on another Directory, watch for it’s publication and then tweet that the article is out. Include the title and the link.

Here’s an interesting Social Marketing question that was asked at the recent Niche Affiliate Marketing System Workshop:

Q: Why would I want to build an online presence using Social Media?

The question came from the notion that Social Media and Social Marketing are just about connecting with your friends. Well, it can be about that. But it is now about so much more!

Get Found. Get Viewed. Get Traffic. Get Profits

While Facebook may have started as something just for college students, it is now the number two website in the world. If the number of people who have Facebook accounts were a country, they would be the 4th largest country in the world.

And that is just one Social Marketing site. Let’s take a closer look at the value of strong online visibility.

Get Found – Because there are millions of sites on the Internet, the first and most important step is getting found. Having a strong online presence allows you to erect “multiple sign posts” leading to your information. And here is the bottom line: Getting found is everything. In all the noise in your niche, when you get found, you are heads and tails above everyone else.

Get Viewed – The steps here are simple – once you get found, prospects can view your information contained in the signposts you have erected. As prospects begin to consume your information and realize that you know what you are talking about, they begin to know, like and trust you. You can then direct them to other resources you may have, which leads to the next step.

Social Marketing is a very powerful way to create massive online visibility, drive traffic and build your list. The challenge for many markers is how do you find the time to do what you need to do to be effective on each site. And to do it in a way that does not take hours a day.

The good news is there are many ways to both automate and integrate our Social Marketing. Let’s take a closer look at what I mean by automation and integration.

Automation – There are actions on each of the Social Marketing tools that can be set up to be done automatically for you, so you do not have to be there to take each action.

Integration – Many of the main Social Marketing tools can be set up so that an action (a marketing message) taken on one site will result in an action (other marketing messages) taken on one or more other sites.

I realize the two statements above may not make complete sense to you unless and until you have experienced them. So let me show you what I mean with 5 of the major Social Marketing sites. Click here to keep reading…
