Social Article Marketing Secrets – 5 Ways to Repurpose Your Articles on Facebook and Twitter
By Jeff Herring
If the only thing you are doing with your Article Marketing is publishing your articles on the Article Directories, then you are missing out on a great opportunity to repurpose and extend the reach of your articles.Facebook and Twitter are two of the most popular and powerful social networking sites on the internet. I recommend you take advantage of the opportunity they present to repurpose and extend the reach of your articles.
Here are three steps you can take on Facebook and two steps you can take on Twitter.
3 on Facebook
Once you have set up your Facebook account, here are three powerful steps to take with your articles:
Notes section – In the notes section, you want to list your articles. I recommend watching your stats on EzineArticles and posting your articles that get the most views and click thrus.
Groups - You can form your own groups on Facebook and invite your prospects to become a part of it. Use keywords from your niche to name your group, buy a domain name with that name and forward it to your group page. You can send your articles to the group members and post your articles on the group page.
Fan page – You can create your own fan page as well. This becomes a more exclusive group. Just like with your notes section, pay attention to which articles get the most views and click thrus on EzineArticles and post them to your fan page.
2 on Twitter
Once have set up your Twitter account, here are two powerful steps you can take with your articles:
EzineArticles & Twitter – Set-up your EzineArticles account to automatically post your approved articles to your Twitter profile. Ezch time a new article is accepted and published at EzineArticles a post is automatically made to your Twitter account.
Tweet about your articles – On Twitter when you create a 140 character mini-post it is called a tweet. I know. But it works. As you network and build community on Twitter, refer people back to your articles that fit with the conversation. This positions you as the helpful expert you are, and people do business with experts who are helpful.
The two best things about these strategies are:
1. They are very powerful, and
2. They are free – and cost you only time and energy.

Jeff -
Talk about timing for this post. I was just doing a brain dump for about 10 articles. Then it hit me! These aren’t JUST articles… These are videos, articles, blog posts, teleseminar topics, and so much more…
And that’s what you are talking about right now. Repurposing – repackaging – and like Felicia Slattery and Alex Mandossian teach, using resources to reach people where they are, and in a way that they can consume this information.
Love it!

Also, if your articles are on IdeaMarketers, you can use the RSS feed they provide and pop it into Simply RSS or other RSS box tool.

Great advice Jeff,
Yes I am beginning to understand the importance of social networking for our work in aromatherapy and energy healing. Getting all the little connections between internet sites and the social networks is critical to spreading the word about your products, teleseminars, and educatiional programming.
I continue to learn from you every week.

Hi Jeff
This is perfect timing! I’ve just started looking at other ways to use my articles. It’s great to be told exactly what to do and how to do it, rather than simply to be told get an account with twitter etc.
Must get started on it now.

This is a great article for those of us new to social networking. I have a question – how do you set EzineArticles to work with Twitter? I've looked through every menu I can find, but don't see it. Thanks
